The Cooperative Development Authority continuously served the cooperative sector by giving them the necessary skills required for the efficient operation of their cooperatives. The provision of mandatory training to micro cooperatives provides them with a systematic improvement of knowledge and skills which in turn helps the trainees to function effectively and efficiently in their given task upon completion of the training.

Mandatory training for micro cooperatives is eight (8) hours Fundamentals of Cooperatives and eight (8) hours Cooperative Governance and Management. It was provided to the officers and members of different micro cooperatives in Pagudpud in partnership with the LGU Pagudpud last July 25, 2023 and August 11, 2023, attended by officers of six (6) cooperatives.

Another back-to-back mandatory training were conducted last August 14 and 15 to the officers and members of cooperatives in Laoag City in partnership with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte and in Currimao last August 16 and 17 in partnership with the Department of Agrarian Reform.
