Binmaley, Pangasinan – The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region I Extension Office conducted a two-day Mid-Year Planning and Assessment Program on June 18-19, 2024, at Rufina’s Restaurant and Events Place. The program aimed to evaluate the office’s current status and track its progress towards annual targets outlined in the Work and Financial Plan.
Throughout the program, employees engaged in thorough discussions regarding their accomplishments and pending targets. These discussions were crucial for identifying necessary strategy adjustments, enhancing accountability, and effectively allocating available resources. Additionally, the program included comprehensive discussions on Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) and the Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR) for all employees, ensuring alignment with the Work and Financial Plan.
The first day featured presentations of accomplishments by each section, providing a clear snapshot of current achievements. Regional Director Atty. Frederick Joe Robles and Assistant Regional Director Mr. Edilberto Unson offered valuable comments and suggestions to further enhance and strengthen the office’s performance.
On the second day, the focus shifted to identifying and discussing common and apparent risks that each section typically encounters. This risk and opportunity registry is essential for proactively addressing potential challenges and leveraging opportunities to improve office practices.
By continuously monitoring progress through this planning and assessment program, the CDA Region I Extension Office ensures stability and continuous improvement throughout the year. This approach keeps the organization aligned with its goals and builds a strong foundation for long-term success. (Jas Ferrer, CDS II/Acting HRMO)
