A one day Orientation on Reportorial Requirements (ORR) and Formation of Municipal Cooperative Development Council (MCDC) was successfully conducted through the LGU Mangatarem’s Municipal Cooperative Development Office, headed by Ms. Maricris S. Toledo, CDS II and in collaboration with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region I Extension Office. The activity aims to orient the 14 registered cooperatives in Mangatarem, Pangasinan to the mandatory reports and provide updates on the various CDA submission methods. Submission is available in CAIS and the new one is in Offline mode submission. And also one of the highlights of the activity is the orientation on the formation of the Municipal Cooperative Development Council (MCDC), which will serve as the Cooperative Development Office’s and the LGU’s policy consulting body in the implementation of cooperative programs and projects. Mr. Sherwin M. Arcipe l, Senior CDS and yours truly served as resource speakers on the said orientation.
