Training on Cooperative Values and Strategic Planning for Coconut Farmers Cooperatives

The Training on Cooperative Values and Strategic Planning aimed at empowering coconut farmers cooperatives took place on October 8-9, 2024, at the Empress Island Hotel in Alaminos City, Pangasinan. This two-day training focused on reinforcing the core principles of cooperatives and outlining a strategic direction for their future growth and sustainability.

Participants were fortunate to have Dr. Allen Ngilangil, a highly esteemed resource speaker recognized for his expertise in cooperative development and strategic planning, as the lead facilitator for the event. Dr. Ngilangil delivered an insightful and engaging presentation that emphasized the significance of Filipino values in cooperative settings while providing essential strategies for effective planning. His discussions laid a solid foundation for participants to grasp the critical role these principles play in enhancing their operations and community contributions.

In addition to the informative lectures, hands-on activities were integral to the training. Participants actively engaged in collaborative sessions where they presented their outputs, showcasing the strategies they could implement within their cooperatives.

The distinguished Regional Director of CDA Region I, Atty. Frederick Joe N. Robles is present to guide the participants, as are other dedicated CDA Region I facilitators, including Filipina H.
