Brgy. Bago Gallera Entrepreneurs Settle Their Dispute Through CDA Legal Unit

 Davao City- Several entrepreneurs from a cooperative in Davao City were able to settle their contractual and property disputes against a cooperative through the CDA Dialogue Proceeding on February 6, 2025 at the CDA Hearing Room, 3rd Floor, CDA Building, SPMC Compound, Friendship Road, Dumanlas, Davao City.

The entrepreneurs sought intervention from the CDA Region XI Extension Office Legal Unit in order to allow their continued operations in the disputed area owned by a cooperative.

After initial presentation of evidence, the parties entered into a compromised agreement to allow the entrepreneurs to continue their business, avoiding any economic effect on their income and any protracted litigation. The cooperative agreed to allow the continued business operations of the entrepreneurs for humanitarian reasons.

The dialogue facilitator was Atty. Earl D.F. Larroder, Legal Unit Head of CDA Region XI Extension Office. The signing of the compromise agreement was witnessed by Engr. Rhandy Corro, Acting Supervising CDS of the extension office. ###
