DAVAO CITY – On August 30 and 31, 2022, Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Regional Office 11 – Credit Surety Fund (CSF) Unit and IED of CSF Service conducted its inspection of the Digos City CSF Cooperative at the City Cooperative Development Office (CCDO) office, New City Hall, Digos City. This is pursuant to the regulatory powers of the CDA under Section 19 of the R.A. 10744 and Rule 2, Sections 3 and 4 of the IRR.

The inspection was conducted to ensure that CSF cooperatives comply with the regulatory requirements imposed by the cooperative laws, rules, regulations, related laws, and other administrative issuances.

The inspection team was composed of Engr. Rhandy B. Corro, Senior Cooperatives Development Specialist (CDS) and Anna Liza Inot, CDS II of CDA 11 CSF Unit, and Ian Dave Alindajao, Senior CDS, IED of CSF Service. Likewise, Analyn Vallejos, CDS I conducted the monthly monitoring.

During the exit conference, Engr. Corro took the opportunity to thank the Board of Directors and the management of the cooperative for the warm reception and cooperation during the conduct of inspection.

Mr. Jonas Placer, Chairperson of Digos City CSF Cooperative extended his gratitude to CDA for the technical assistance and support that was provided. In relation to the findings of inspection, he informed the team that the cooperative will be having a membership expansion campaign and urge their member-cooperatives to apply for loans through the CSF.
