DAVAO CITY- In line with its goal of providing free legal services to cooperatives and to settle any cooperative disputes, the CDA Davao Legal Unit held a legal forum in the Municipality of Asuncion on May 16, 2024 and Municipality of Kapalong on May 27, 2024 respectively.

With full attendance and active participation from the officers and members of the various cooperatives, the back-to-back event was graced by the presence of Atty. Rosario Dayday, Chairperson of Kapalong Cooperative in the Municipality of Asuncion and Mayor Theresa Timbol of the Municipality of Kapalong in Kapalong, Davao del Norte.

The participants were able to raise legal issues regarding their cooperatives and asked what legal remedies that they could obtain.

The CDA Legal Forum is targeted to be held in the various cities/municipalities in the Davao Region in partnership with the local government units, cooperative development offices and stakeholders.

CDA Davao Legal Unit is open to any invitation for scheduled legal forums within the Davao Region.
