After the initial year of program execution in Y2022, Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region XI, headed by Director Glenn Sabanal Garcia, conducted FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Training to forty-seven (47) Coconut Farmers Cooperatives (CFC) in Region XI last July 17-18, 2023 at Grand Regal Hotel, Lanang, Davao City. The training was attended mostly by cooperative Chairpersons and Managers.
Topics discussed were Basics of Financial Management, Financial Analysis, and Budgeting which is imperative in equipping the participants with the skills and knowledge to apply financial management tools and techniques in business towards decision making.
For the second year implementation of the COCOFARMCOOP Program, big chunk of the budget pie is allocated for the capability building training of CFC beneficiaries. The Year2 Program is primarily aimed at strengthening further the capabilities of CFCs in managing its organizations and enterprises.
Training on Business Continuity Management is also set to be undertaken by the beneficiaries in August 2023.
