DCCPEC MPC Cares for the Teachers
The DCCPEC Multi-Purpose Cooperative has also felt the need to assist the schools in Davao City especially in this time of pandemic where the new normal in the education system has somewhat burdened the learning institutions specifically, the teachers who will prepare the modules for the students. It was also known that sometimes, teachers have to spend out of their own pockets just to produce the needed modules for the specified number of students.
On September 8-9, 2020, the officers of DCCPEC MPC visited the schools of Bonifacio Elementary School, Talomo Central School, Leon Garcia Elementary School, Bastida Elementary School and Baracayo Integrated School in Davao City. They distributed boxes of coupon bonds to the said schools amounting to Twenty Thousand Pesos (P20,000.00) which they derived from their Community Development Fund (CDF).
DMCCC Secures Needs of Frontliners
The Digos Medical Center Consumers Cooperative (DMCCC) continuously supports the needs of the frontliners of Digos City by securing all the employees’ health in this time of pandemic. DMCCC has since been providing vitamins, face masks, KN95 masks, and the PPE suits and gears as the primary needs of their members to avoid illnesses such as the COVID-19 virus and allow them to efficiently do their job as medical frontliners.
