DAVAO CITY – In their efforts to jumpstart their operation as Credit Surety Fund (CSF) Cooperative, the Dinagat Islands CSF Coop, Butuan City CSF Coop and Agusan del Norte CSF Coop in coordination with the Cooperative Development Authority – Caraga Region, Cooperative Development Office of Butuan City and Province of Dinagat Islands conducted benchmarking activities at Davao de Oro CSF Cooperative (DDOCSFC) in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro and Davao City CSF Cooperative (DCCSFC) in Davao City on August 31, 2023.

The joint activity also aims to deepen the knowledge of CSF coop officers and members about the CSF coop, capacitate and acquire knowledge of the best practices of CSF Coops in Region XI.

Ms. Marilou Lanoy, Senior CDS, PAGRO-CDD of Davao de Oro and secretary of DDOCSFC along with DDOCSF member coop, Comval Capitol MPC represented by Mr. Feliciano Crucio, Jr., Secretary of DDOCSF, Mr. Ronald Sibayan, Asst. Provincial Agriculturist and Dr. Grace Almedilla, Asst. Provincial Administrator conducted the orientation in behalf of DDOCSFC at PAGRO Office, Provl. Capitol, Nabunturan.

Mr. Agripino Torres, BOD Member of DCCSFC, briefed them of the operation and best practices of DCCSFC at Manuel Guianga and Sirib MPC.

Ms. Anecita Unson, Senior CDS and Gezzel Quiao, CDS II of CDA Caraga assisted the visiting CSF Coops while the CSF Unit of CDA Davao headed by Engr. Rhandy B. Corro coordinated and made the arrangement with DDOCSFC and DCCSFC officers and staff.
