DAVAO CITY – On 29 April 2024, representatives from CDA Regional Office XI attended and witnessed the meeting of Education Advocacy, and Union (EAU) cluster of the Regional Cluster Organizations in Region XI as its representatives gathered for their meeting at one of the conference rooms of Provincial Cooperative Union (PCU) – Davao (del Norte) in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
Notably, the meeting was called with the agenda of electing their new set of officers for 2024 to 2026.
The meeting was attended by representatives of PCU-Davao (del Norte), PCU-Davao del Sur, and PCU-Davao de Oro. A representative from the Cooperative Union of Davao City (CUDC) was present via online platform.
With the above-mentioned cooperatives present and in the absence of a representative from NBK Advocacy Cooperative, the meeting has met a quorum and thus, the election of officers took place after some preliminaries.
After a very quick election of officers, the following representatives who attended the meeting were elected in the following positions:
- President – Mr. Sofronio Talisic, Chairman, PCU-Davao
- Vice President – Mr. Randy Albores, Chairman, PCU-Davao del Sur
- Secretary – Ms. Analie Panorel, Representative of PCU-Davao de Oro (formerly PCU-Compostela Valley)
- Treasurer – Mr. Nestor Ortigoza, Representative of CUDC (online)
CDA Regional XI congratulates the above-mentioned officers for their dedication and having been elected as officers of the EAU Cluster.
