CDA XI Facilitates Amicable Settlement of Cooperative Dispute

Davao City, March 13, 2025 – The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region XI successfully facilitated a dialogue proceeding to address concerns raised by a member of a cooperative regarding his loan payment. The dialogue was conducted under the CDA Omnibus Rules of Procedures, aiming to provide a non-litigious and expedient resolution to the financial dispute.

The session was led by Cooperative Development Specialist Jambalaya Maceda, supervised by Atty. Earl Larroder, ensuring an impartial and structured process. In line with Republic Act No. 11364, the dialogue allowed both parties to fully present their concerns without rigid legal formalities, fostering an open discussion that led to a mutually acceptable settlement.

By facilitating this settlement, CDA XI reaffirmed its commitment to cooperative governance, transparency, and peaceful dispute resolution. The agency continues to promote fairness, accountability, and sustainability within cooperatives through structured mediation mechanisms.
