A Ceremonial Turn-over of the financial grant to Sto. Tomas Individual Farming Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (SIFARBCO) was conducted last April 17, 2022 at SIFARBCO Office, Tibal-og, Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte with none other than CDA Chairman Usec. Joseph B. Encabo as the Guest of Honor.  The event was also attended by CDA RO XI personnel led by Regional Director Ruben L. Cunanan, Sr. CDS Doreen R. Catayoc and CDS II Phoebe A. Casangyao.

          The CDA Board of Directors has approved the Special Assistance to Recover and Alleviate (SARA) Program to SIFARBCO amounting to Php100,000, through Board Resolution No. 170, S-2022 dated March 9, 2022. SIFARBCO is the first cooperative beneficiary in Region XI of CDA’s SARA Program. The program aims to provide financial assistance to cooperatives to improve its operation and alleviate its current status.

          The financial grant was awarded to the coop for its consumer operation through Chairperson Leoderic P. Luzeñada, in the presence of the members. The coop is currently serving seventy-three (73) members who are availing the services of the cooperative namely, Lending & Consumer operation and Livelihood program to ARB members (weaving loom).
