On February 22, 2022 at 5:00 in the afternoon to 9:00 o’clock through Zoom platform, the Seminar on Social audit was conducted by ZARA B. PEREZ, CDS II of District 1-Davao del Norte for the Officers and Representatives of Tagum Cooperative through the request of the Model Cooperative Network (MCN), a cooperative federation operating in Davao Region. It was participated in by 23 male and 32 female officers, representatives and management staff.
The said seminar aimed to impart to the officers and representatives of Tagum Cooperative the importance and relevance of Social Audit to the cooperative, as well as its impact to the community where the cooperative extended its social development programs.
Director Noel O. Quidilla, chairperson of Tagum Cooperative had his opening and welcome address followed with the Rationale and Training Objectives of Director Antonio C. Arañas, member of the board of directors and the levelling of expectations by Director Nenita R. Malbas, CPA.
The speaker discussed the following salient features of the Social audit, to wit:

- Objectives, advantages and benefits
- Components of Social Audit
Towards the end, a short open forum was facilitated by Director Monina L. Salido and three (3) of the participants has its takeaways of the seminar and it ended up with the closing remarks of EDCOM Chairperson Director Janet T. Matuguinas.
