DAVAO CITY – The Bankerohan Livestock Multipurpose Cooperative (BLMC), together with Endonela Institute of Technology Foundation, Inc. (EITFI), and the City Government of Davao signed a tripartite agreement for the conduct of a Butchery Training Course (Slaughtering Operations NC 1) within Davao City last 31 January 2023.

          With the growing demand for butchers to work abroad, this agreement serves a beacon of light to interested and qualified Filipinos, especially to Davaoeños who are looking for opportunities to work outside the Philippines for greener pastures.

          Students who will take the course will be exposed to activities such as, but not limited to practical or actual hands-on training by BLMC using a program developed by EITFI and will be taught by a pool of expert trainers from both BLMC and EITFI.

    The training program will make use of the City Government’s slaughterhouse which is situated in Ma-a, Davao City. /Jed Vertucio
