On February 12, 2025, General Santos City Credit Surety Fund Cooperative (GSCCSFC) conducts strategic planning at Avior conducted Hotel, General Santos City. The planning does not only aim to evaluate the status and the challenges encountered by the CSF cooperative but also revisit its existing vision and mission and align it with the current mandate of the credit surety fund program of the government.

Dr. Leonard V. Flores, CESE, EnP., Department Head of City Economic Management and Cooperative Development Office (CEMCDO) warmly welcomed all the participants of the training, giving due recognition to the effort of the participants who joined the activity. The acknowledgment of the participants was also done by the Assistant Department Head of CEMCDO, Mr. Jose Kevin Z. Sienes, JD, MPA.

Also present during the planning was the Director of the Financial Inclusion Office of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Mr. Mynard Bryan R. Mojica who delivered an inspirational message to the attendees. CDA 12 Acting RD Juriski B. Mangelen delivered a message of support to the participants commending the dedication and commitment of CSF coop stakeholders, officers, and members.

Facilitators of the strategic planning were the Manager of the Financial Inclusion Office of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Ms. Eleonor D. Ramos and Bank Officer Jashzeel F. Baldonado who also imparted the process of the formulation of vision, mission, environmental scanning of micro and macro-environment including SWOT Analysis and the formulation of operation plans to address the challenges encountered by the CSF cooperative.

At the end of the session, the General Santos City CSF Cooperative (GSCCSFC)  was able to update the existing vision, mission, and operational plans. The planning was a success and ended with a renewed strong commitment from all the stakeholders of the CSF Cooperative.
