On September 15, 2023, Monatao Honeya R. Alawi, the Regional Director of CDA Caraga, embarked on a significant visit to Butuan City Hall. Her purpose was to met with Mayor Ronnie Vicente C. Lagnada, marking a crucial step in enhancing the collaboration between the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Butuan City.

During their meeting, Director Alawi engaged Mayor Lagnada in an extensive discussion regarding the growth of the cooperative movement in the region. She also took the opportunity to update Mayor Lagnada on the progress of budget allocation for the CDA Building.
