The Cooperative Development Authority – Caraga Extension Office is one with the nation in the celebration of the 2023 National Women’s Month in observance of the Proclamation No. 227, s. of 1988, providing the Month of March as Women’s Role in History Month and Republic Act No. 6949, declaring March 8 of every year as National Women’s Day.

CDA Caraga headed by the Regional Director, Monatao Honeya R. Alawi, expressed its utmost support through wearing of purple shirt every Wednesday this whole Month of March. The agency also joined the Caraga Women’s Summit last March 8, 2023 held at Malvar Hall, Balanghai Hotel, Butuan City.

This Women’s Month celebration launched the new recurring theme from this year until 2028, titled “WE for gender equality and inclusive society”, a very significant event in achieving gender equality and societal change. Thus, this year’s sub-theme, “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for Gender Equality,” will embolden women and girls to implicitly make use of technological advancements and to end the gender gap in the use of communication technology, and access to computer facilities.

We look forward and pursue the National Women’s Month Celebration theme, that WE are all for Gender Equality, and WE are all for an Inclusive Society.
