Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region XIII participated in the week long Caraga Coconut Festival 2023 on August 14-18, 2023 at Robinson’s Place, Butuan City. The activity is a convergence of implementing government agencies and other stakeholders to support the development of coconut farmers and industry in the region pursuant to the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) of the country. CDA’s collaboration to CFIDP aimed at organizing strong and sufficient coconut farmers’ cooperatives operating a viable agribusiness enterprises providing tangible economic opportunities and benefits to its member coconut farmers and adhering to the principles of cooperativism.

CDA showcased its CFIDP accomplishments such as the Provision of Financial Assistance, Provision of Laptops, Conduct of Capability Building Trainings, Conduct of Pre-Registration Seminars (PRS) and technical assistance on online registration to Coconut Farmers Organizations, Associations and Cooperatives. The 5-year CFIDP is still a long journey to go, but CDA believes that through strong cooperation more and more can be accomplished. Magtambayayong kita sa mas malambuon nga kooperatiba!
