CDA Caraga Regional Office through the Cooperative Project Development Assistance Section (CPDAS) successfully conducted Batch 1- Capacity Building Training for Coconut Farmers Cooperatives held in the different venues per province. The training is entitled Refresher Course/Orientation on CDA Regulations cum Leadership and Team Building for CFCs. The participants were very grateful on the interventions given under the Coconut Farmers Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) that truly enhanced their learnings on the subject matters given during the training. The workshops strengthened the officers specifically in the effective ways in leading and coordinating with co-officers and members in order to achieve the goals of their respective cooperatives.

The leadership and team building topics were given by resource speakers from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). On the other hand, other topics on the Review of Articles of Cooperation and By Laws, Mediation and Conciliation and CDA and Other Relevant Laws for Cooperatives were given by CDA Caraga Personnel headed by Atty. Kenny Junce P. Altubar and Lourd Anthony O. Dollano.

For this semester, more batches of trainings will be given to the CFIDP Project Beneficiaries such as Business Continuity Management & Planning Workshop, Internal Control, Parliamentary Procedures that are deemed essential in the Business Operation and Management of Cooperatives.
