Empowering Teamwork: RCDC Caraga Team Building Adventure

The second day of the 2nd Regional Cooperative Development Council (RCDC) Meeting in Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte, held last July 5,2024 was marked by an enriching visit to the picturesque Rosedale’s Nature Park and a refreshing stop at the local hilltop View Deck, operated by indigenous community members. This excursion not only provided participants with a scenic retreat but also offered insights into local sustainable tourism initiatives and community empowerment through cooperative efforts.

The day began with participants setting out to explore the natural splendor of Rosedale’s Nature Park, known for its breathtaking views and serene surroundings. Amidst lush greenery and pristine landscapes, cooperative leaders and stakeholders engaged in informal discussions, fostering camaraderie and deeper bonds beyond the meeting room.

At the hilltop View Deck, managed by indigenous communities, participants were treated to panoramic vistas of Agusan del Norte’s rolling hills and verdant valleys. The visit not only showcased the region’s natural beauty but also underscored the role of cooperatives in promoting sustainable tourism and supporting local livelihoods.

Memories were captured in group pictures, serving as mementos of the shared experiences and camaraderie forged during the RCDC meeting. Participants seized the opportunity to reflect on the importance of preserving and promoting local cultures and natural resources through cooperative-driven initiatives.

As the day drew to a close, participants bid farewell to Cabadbaran City, enriched by their experiences and inspired by the cooperative spirit that permeated throughout the meeting and the excursion.
