The Cooperative Development Authority – RXIII in coordination with the Philippine Coconut Authority conducted its second convergence forum on August 11, 2023 at Del’s Hotel, Grill & Restaurant, Karaos, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur.

The activity is a continued effort initiated towards achieving the goals and objectives of the fourteen (14) participating implementing agencies of the Coconut Farmers Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) for the COCOFARMCOOP. It is a consultative convergence among the partner-stakeholder representatives, coconut farmer cooperatives, organizations and/or associations with the purpose of creating a Local Coconut Industry Development Council (LCIDC) in Provincial LGU of Agusan del Sur.

It is pivotal move that will foster growth and sustainable development for the coconut farmers socio-economic endeavors to mitigate poverty and improve their quality of life.

Through collaborative deliberations and shared visions, the partner-stakeholders has committed to help in reviving the inactive LCIDC in the province. The collaborative effort of coconut farmers with the assistance of the CFIDP implementing agencies is a driving force that inspires harmony between the communities and the government towards attaining transformative development.
