On July 03, 2024, the Cooperative Development Authority Region XIII Extension Office (CDA Craga) held its groundbreaking ceremony at the Regional Government Center, Brgy. Tiniwisan, Butuan City. The activity was attended by the CDA Caraga personnel led by Regional Director, Monatao Honeya R. Alawi. The event was graced by guests from the CDA Head Office, Assistant Secretary Santiago S. Lim – CDA Administrator and Dr. Edmund Cris Acosido.

Local partners and stakeholders also joined the ceremony including Atty. William Christian Dela Cruz, representative of Congressman Jose “Joboy” S. Aquino II, Hon. Cromwell P. Nortega, representative of Mayor Ronnie Vicente C . Lagnada, Engr. Ma. Rosario C. Bascones, representative of District Engineer Jose Caesar A. Radaza along with Project Engineer, Engr. Balbino Concha III and Engr. Froilan Karl Villaluz, and City Cooperative Development Council (CCDC) of Butuan Chairperson, Mr. Edgar Palarca, Jr.

This 48-million-worth project will be spearheaded by Engr. John Karyl B. Cultura, the Project Engineer of Giovanni Construction. This is expected to be done within 210 calendar days.

The groundbreaking ceremony marks the end of the long years waiting for the establishment of the CDA Caraga Office Building.
