On July 6, 2024 the global cooperative community celebrates the International Day of Cooperatives (IDC) with the theme “Cooperatives Build a Better Future for All”.

To commemorate this Day, the newly elected officers of the Regional Cooperative Development Council Region II (RCDC R2) took their oath of office before the Honorable Governor of Nueva Vizcaya, Atty. Jose V. Gambito on July 5, 2024 at the Paniqui Hall, Executive Building, Provincial Capitol, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. The ceremony was witnessed by members of the Council and other guests.

Adding to the day’s significance, the Province of Nueva Vizcaya awarded a check of P5.7 million as additional investment to the Nueva Vizcaya Credit Surety Fund Cooperative, reflecting the provincial government’s support to the cooperative sector.

Festivities from cooperatives across the region added to the celebration, making IDC 2024 a memorable event for the cooperative community.
