March 8, 2022 (Tuguegarao City, Cagayan)– A consultation meeting between partner agencies and the would-be project beneficiary, PASAMOBA Multipurpose Cooperative was held on March 8, 2022, at Sta. Ana, Cagayan. The consultation aims to trace out other issues and concerns related to the proposed project entitled, “Provision of Payao and Ring Net Fishing Vessel Project.”

The meeting was attended by 28 participants from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Regional Office II represented by Regional Director Dr. Angel Encarnacion, Cagayan Economic Zone Authority represented by Ms. Grace Ruiz, representatives from the CDA Region 2 Extension Office headed by Regional Director Atty. Franco G. Bawang Jr., and 19 officers and members of the PASAMOBA Multipurpose Cooperative.

During the meeting, the representatives from the BFAR RO2 have committed to submit the proposed project estimated at 3 Million-5 Million pesos for funding. On the other hand, in support to the project, the CDA submitted a 5 million amount under the  Program Convergence Budgeting Agency Program to CDA-CO for their consideration and submission to the Department of Budget and Management.
