March 3, 2022 (Tuguegarao City, Cagayan)- In fulfillment of the Agency’s mandate to promulgate and update the cooperative sector and other stakeholders in the region, CDA Region II Extension Office conducted its quarterly Forum on March 3, 2022, via Zoom Platform and Facebook Live which was attended by various cooperatives from the Region, partners from the LGUs, and Cooperative Development Officers.

The topics discussed focused on R.A. 11535 – An Act Making the Position of Cooperatives Development Officer Mandatory in the Municipal, City and Provincial Levels, Amending the Purpose of RA 7160; DILG MC No. 2021-110 – Pagtatalaga ng Cooperatives Development Officer sa mga Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Lalawigan, Lungsod at Bayan alinsunod sa Pagpapatupad ng Batas Republika bilang 11535; and CDA MC 2022-01 – Regulatory Relief in the Conduct of Annual Regular General Assembly Meetings for CY 2022 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Speakers of the forum include Mr. Rambo Tambauan, LGOO IV of the Department of the Interior and Local Government RO2, and CDA RO2 Legal Officer, Atty. Nita Doreen Tabbu. RD Atty. Franco G. Bawang, Jr. and Acting ARD Antonio Addun also joined the team during the open forum.
