Orientation on the salient provisions of R.A. No. 11765 or the Financial Products and Services Consumer Protection Act and its IRR
An informative and well-attended Orientation on the salient provisions of R.A. No. 11765 or the Financial Products and Services Consumer Protection Act and its IRR was successfully conducted as requested last June 21, 23, & 28, 2025 at Santiago City, Cauayan City, and Alicia, Isabela, respectively.
The activity aimed to increase awareness & understanding of the law among cooperatives with financial products and services. Resource speakers from CDA-R02, Senior CDS Elmira E. Reyes and CDS II Jeryson T. Manding, highlighted the orientation with a workshop in the preparation of Gap Analysis on current consumer protection practices vis-a-vis the provisions of the IRR of R.A. 11765 and Board-Approved Action Plan in compliance with the transitory clause as provided in MC 2023-14.
