CDA Region III conducted Orientations on ATIR, ABR and CAIS

The Cooperative Development Authority – Region III Extension Office conducted Orientations on CDA Mandatory Reports virtually and face-to-face.

On March 1, 2024, in partnership with the Mariveles LGU and Mariveles Municipal Cooperative Development Officer Engr. Rolando Cruz and Bataan PCEDO head Ms. Aliw Jose, recently conducted Orientations on ATIR, ABR and CAIS at Mariveles Womens and Community Multipurpose Cooperative Events Place, Mariveles, Bataan attended by representatives of 14 cooperatives registered in Mariveles.

A focal point of the seminar was the comprehensive discussion led by Ms. Jasmin P. Barroga, Acting Head-Supervision and Examination Section, on the Annual Tax Incentives Report (ATIR) and Annual Benefits Report (ABR). Attendees received guidance on accurately completing these crucial forms, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and fostering transparency in cooperative operations. Additionally, she also discussed Cooperative Annual Information System (CAIS) Orientation, enlightening cooperatives on the importance of data accuracy and completeness for their FY 2023 reports. Emphasizing the submission of original Audited Financial Statements and copy of the certificates on the training of new officers before April 30, 2024.

Additionally, Ms. Angelica Herico and Mr. Dave Espinosa, Cooperative Development Specialists II of CDA Region III provided technical assistance to the compliance officers of the cooperatives.

Meanwhile, on April 4, 2024, the CDA Region III Extension Office conducted a virtual Orientation on CDA Mandatory Reports. Headed by Ms. Jasmin P. Barroga, the Supervision and Examination Section presented the reportorial requirements, alongside were Mr. Ralph Rendell P. Toledo, Ms. Karen S. Akiate, and Mr. Michael Louie D. Nuevo.

In conclusion, the recent orientations on CDA mandatory reports conducted by the Cooperative Development Authority – Region III Extension Office signify our ongoing commitment to ensuring regulatory compliance and transparency within the cooperative sector. Through comprehensive discussions and technical assistance provided by our dedicated team, cooperatives in the region are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to accurately complete and submit their reports. As we continue our efforts to support the growth and development of cooperatives in the region, we look forward to further collaborations and initiatives aimed at strengthening the cooperative movement.
