CDA RO III will once again participate on this endeavor in partnership with Laboratory Cooperatives, Guardian Cooperatives, the Central Luzon Regional Council, the LGUs, and other line agencies of the government. This will be  a long week celebration on March 22-28, 2021 with the theme “Take care of yourself, take care of your money” and in consonance  with its slogan “Learn. Save. Earn”.

The series of activities laid down for this week-long celebration aim to empower our youth on financial literacy, and the value of money with wise spending and investment as we envisioned financial resilience amongst young people. This Global Money Week is a worldwide awareness campaign led by Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) International Network on Financial Education (OECD/INFE).

This year, activities on this money awareness campaign focusses on showcasing the talents of cooperative members of the Laboratory Cooperatives while inculcating in them the importance of “saving” side by side with the observance of health protocols as a way of taking care of oneself, especially in these trying times. Another focus is to promote camaraderie amongst Laboratory Cooperatives as we uphold mental health and financial awareness campaign. Also, to expand and strengthen the partnership with the different stakeholders towards this endeavor for a broader participation on the said awareness campaign program.
