Kick-Off of the Basic Training Course on Cooperatives, Bookkeeping and Entrepreneurship (BTC_COBE) for Beneficiaries of RCEF Mechanization Program under the CDA-PhilMech Partnership Program Conducted at Baler, Aurora
**
The first batch among the 14 target batches of the training on BTC_COBE was conducted at Baler, Aurora on October 4-5, 2022 in a blended mode. This training was part of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech) partnership to enhance the Farmers’ Cooperative and Association (FCA) capability to operate and manage the Farm Machinery Service Provider (FMSP) as a sustainable social enterprise. The activity was attended by 33 participants from 2 cooperatives, 2 irrigator associations and 13 farmer associations from the different municipalities of the province who are recipients of the RCEF-Mechanization Program of PhilMech.

The training was managed and facilitated by the CDA Region 3 Extension Office headed by Director Cristina H. Villamil and PhilMech as the partner agency who attended via Zoom and assisted the training team to answer queries of the participants during the open forum.
