We are pleased to announce the successful collaboration between Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) and the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region III Extension Office. Together, we conducted a blended seminar that brought together 130 entrepreneurship students from DHVSU, both face-to-face and online via the Zoom platform, as well as students from various State Universities and Colleges within the region.
To enrich the seminar, we had the privilege of hosting professors from the Department of Cooperatives and Social Development at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP).
During the seminar, Professors Daisy Villaranti, Dr. Hilda F. San Gabriel, and Prof. Bienvenido P. Nito provided invaluable insights into Cooperative Entrepreneurship, igniting inspiration among the entrepreneurship students. Additionally, we delved into the particulars of organizing a youth cooperative, a topic expertly expounded by Mr. Brian John C. Mendoza, Cooperative Development Specialist II, CDA.
