On May 30 to 31, 2024, the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region III Extension Office, led by the Regional Director Marieta P. Hwang together with the Consumer, Marketing, Producers, Logistics (CMPL) Cluster Head, Assistant Secretary Pendatun B. Disimban, Ph.D. and the Agriculture Cluster Head, Assistant Secretary Virgilio Lazaga, M.D., conducted a regional orientation on implementing the micro and small CMPL Cooperatives Start-up livelihood capital assistance and capability enhancement of micro agriculture cooperatives through development projects at Royce Hotel and Casino, Clark, Pampanga.
The event was attended by representatives from fifty-seven (57) potential cooperative beneficiaries from Micro and Small Cooperatives in the CMPL (Consumers, Marketing, Producers, Logistic) Cluster and Agriculture Cluster in Region 3. The aim of the event is to build awareness to the cooperatives and clusters involved of projects and approach to implement to further strengthen their cooperatives and improve their sustainability. Mr. Raul Encarnacion, Sr. CDS and Cooperative Projects Development and Assistance Section (CPDAS) Chief also conducted an orientation to the cooperatives present at the event on the requirements for accreditation and for availing the assistance from the Cooperative Development Authority. #CMPL #AGRICULTURE #PARASAKOOPERATIBA
