The Cooperative Development Authority Regional Extension Office IV-A (CDA REO IV-A), spearheaded by its Legal Section, conducted the third leg of the Byaheng Kooperatiba, Compliance Caravan to orient Cooperative Leaders, Cooperative Development Officers, and other partners in Batangas province on the One-Time Amnesty Program.
The objective of the activity is to inform dissolved cooperatives and those non-compliant cooperatives on the listed requirements and how to comply with them to acquire compliant status by virtue of the issuance of a Certificate of Compliance.
This event took place last Thursday, May 23, 2024, at LIMCOMA Multipurpose Cooperative Function Hall, Sabang, Lipa City, Batangas. A total of seventy-one (71) participants from various cooperatives, including those that have been dissolved or issued show cause orders, as well as our dear local partners in the province, attended the orientation. Several attendees expressed their intention to avail themselves of the amnesty program.
The Cooperatives Development Specialists of CDA assigned with developmental functions reaffirmed their assistance in accomplishing needed reports and substantial compliance for submission. The CDA REO IV-A extends special citation to the dedicated and ever-supportive team of Lipa City Cooperative Development Office as well as the Officers and Management Staff of LIMCOMA for their support in the success of this event.
