On December 9, 2020, as part of the agency’s Disaster Resiliency Preparedness Program, the Cooperative Development Authority – CALABARZON attended the webinar on “When Disaster Strikes: Guide to Emergency Preparedness” of American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Inc, in partnership with 3M Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. The speaker of this webinar is Mr. Keith Roddan, the Regulatory Development and Training Manager of 3M Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.

The goal of the webinar is to provide organizations with mitigation information needed to develop an emergency/disaster preparedness plan to ensure business continuity and be better prepared to protect their workforce and community during emergencies.The webinar highlights discussed onBusiness Continuation Planning, Business Continuity Plan Life Cycle and how to establish a Business Continuity Plan. It also tackles the different types of Personal Protective Equipment according to its response and the science behind its fit.  The 3M Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. also shared resources such as manualsthat will help the organizations in terms ofpreparedness, response and recovery for a pandemic situation.
