With the function to conduct mandatory trainings for cooperatives, particularly to micro-cooperatives, the CDA R4A Extension Office conducted its monthly training for the month of July 2021 last July 22 and 23, 2021 on Cooperative Management and Good Governance. The activity was facilitated by the Cooperative Research and Training Section (CRITS) headed by Senior Cooperative Development Specialist, Ms. Ivyrene Rose Q. Panaglima, together with Cooperative Development Specialists II, Ms. Mylene M. Datingaling and Ms. Larnie Elaine C. Casiñas.
The webinar or virtual training was divided into two batches of eight (8) hours each and translated into the local dialect which is Tagalog. The first day of the training was attended by a total of 77 participants from the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal while on the second day, there were 65 participants from Batangas and Quezon provinces. The program started at 9:00 AM and after the preliminaries, the activity was formally started with a warm welcome address by Ms. Panaglima. The training was divided into three parts which was discussed by Ms. Panaglima, Ms. Datingaling and Ms. Casiñas. After the discussion, an open forum was conducted which was addressed accordingly by the Resource Persons. The event was successful as all of the participants gave positive comments on the activity.
