September 30, 2024 – The Cooperative Development Authority Regional Extension Office IV-A, participated in the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair held at Aguinaldo Elementary School in the Municipality of Kawit, Province of Cavite, last September 27–28, 2024. This event was attended by 65 national government agencies, where every agency provides quality services and fast transactions.

This service caravan is intended to bring the public service for the Caviteños who have concerns, clarifications, pending transactions, or any kind of compliance to different government Agencies such as BIR, DTI, DOLE, PSA, GSIS/SSS, and more. CDA Region IV-A Extension Office deployed Cooperative Development Specialist (CDS II) Personnel to accommodate various inquiries from the visitors of the Booth. They introduce the cooperative to groups and individuals who are interested in converting their affiliations to a cooperative and encourage them to have a Pre-Registration Seminar to be more knowledgeable about the Cooperative. Cooperatives from different municipalities and cities in Cavite are also invited to receive their Certificate of Compliance (COC) and Amendments Certificate.

Aside from providing important government services, the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair also promotes initiatives like Kadiwa ng Pangulo, which allows small and large food enterprises to participate in the event. Among the cooperatives who participated are Magallanes – Samahang Magsasaka ng Kay-Apas at Medina Agriculture Cooperative and Cafe Amadeo Multi-Purpose Cooperative, who had the opportunity to showcase and promote their merchandise to the audience.

This Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair fulfilled its goal to serve the Filipino community, most especially the local residents. CDA Region IV-A Extension Office is privileged to be part of this Caravan to bring the public service across CALABARZON.
