The Annual General Assembly of the Southern Tagalog Regional Cooperative Development Council (STaRCDC) was held on May 15, 2024, at the Old Provincial Capitol, Lucena City, Province of Quezon.

Attendees included members of the Regional Cooperative Development Council. The matters included: 1) Presentation of Accomplishment Report of STaRCDC and provincial councils in CALABARZON, 2) Review of the CDA MC re: Cooperative Development Councils, 3) Member – Agency Concerns/Programs for Cooperatives, 4) Updates re: STRCDC Cooperative Congress (October 2-4, 2024), 5) Regular Election of Officers, and 6) CDA updates.

Regarding the Election, the newly elected officers were as follows:

Chairperson: Mrs. Celia Atienza – PCLEDO Batangas

Vice Chairperson: Mr. Gener Abordo – Tayabas CDO/Quezon PCDC Auditor

Secretary: Dr. Karen Custodio – ICOPED Director

Treasurer: Ms. Geraldine Lamson – TAGCODEC

Auditor: Mr. Adonis Calimlim – RIZAL PCDC Chairperson
