The Cooperative Development Authority Team Rizal Provincial Field Office, under the jurisdiction of CDA R4A (CALABARZON), is constantly strategizing to provide better services to its clientele. In light of CDA’s aim to help the cooperatives access the program and services of other government agencies and various enablers, strong partnership and initiatives for collaboration are essential steps. Thus, the team started to outstretch its hands to reach other Government Agencies in Rizal. The good thing about this initiative is that the Team was allowed to introduce the CDA’s Plans and Programs for the cooperatives and its initiatives to help the public to eradicate poverty and uplift the Filipino people.
The Team scheduled meetings with various enablers every Friday, introducing the CDA and its work plan, combined with the initiatives of Rizal Field Office. The meetings also served as a platform for the CDA to promote the strength of cooperativism that can also be done by the government by combining the mandates, powers, and goals of its agencies to help the public as a whole. Thru the meetings, the CDA Team was also able to learn the different plans and programs of other government agencies and how they can be of help to cooperatives. They were also able to build strong rapport and partnership and plan for future collaborations. Another good outcome of the meetings was that the CDA Rizal was given the opportunity to showcase the beauty of cooperativism and the strong principles of the Cooperative Movement.
So far, the team was able to meet with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA).
