On June 11, 2025, at the Heritage Hotel Manila in Pasay City, the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) MIMAROPA was recognized by the 8th Regional Development Council (RDC) of the MIMAROPA Region for its outstanding and invaluable contributions toward the attainment of Ambisyon Natin 2040—a Matatag, Maginhawa, at Panatag na Buhay Para sa Lahat.
The award highlights CDA MIMAROPA’s vital role as an ex-officio voting member of the RDC and its consistent active participation in the Economic Development Committee (EDC), where it has demonstrated unwavering commitment and zero absences throughout the council’s meetings. One of the pivotal moments that contributed to this recognition was CDA MIMAROPA’s successful presentation of the Credit Surety Fund (CSF) Program during a previous EDC meeting. The program, designed to strengthen access to finance for micro, small, and medium cooperatives and enterprises, received strong support from the committee and served as a concrete example of how cooperative initiatives can align with and advance regional economic goals.
This recognition is not just a ceremonial milestone—it affirms the agency’s continuing role in inclusive development, community empowerment, and economic resilience. Through its grounded approach and dedication to partnership-building, CDA MIMAROPA continues to amplify the voice of cooperatives in regional policymaking and development planning.
The award serves as both an honor and a reminder of the journey ahead: to continue innovating, collaborating, and delivering on the promise of Ambisyon Natin 2040 for every Filipino family in the MIMAROPA Region.
