The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) MIMAROPA Region has taken its mission to support cooperatives with the launch of the Cooperative Compliance on Wheels initiative. Designed to provide on-the-go assistance tailored specifically for cooperatives, this innovative program kicked off its journey in Occidental Mindoro, marking the beginning of a transformative endeavor set to benefit cooperatives across the entire MIMAROPA region.

With the Cooperative Compliance on Wheels, cooperatives can access a wide range of essential services conveniently brought to the community. From assisting with mandatory reports to offering guidance on regulatory compliance, providing strategies for sustainable growth, and offering legal advisory services, this mobile support platform aims to address the diverse needs of cooperatives, regardless of their location within the region.

Acting Regional Director Alberto A. Sabarias underscored the significance of this initiative, stating, “The Cooperative Compliance on Wheels represents a significant leap forward in our efforts to empower cooperatives. By bringing crucial assistance directly to their communities, we are not only streamlining access to support but also fostering an environment conducive to the long-term success and sustainability of cooperatives.”
