CDA MIMAROPA Regional Office: Celebrating Achievements and Embracing Unity at the Year-end Assessment

The Year-end Assessment of the CDA MIMAROPA Regional Office came to a close with a memorable and eventful day filled with various activities. The highlight of the day was the presence of USEC Joseph B. Encabo, the esteemed CDA Chairman, who graced the event with his wisdom and guidance.

The day began with each province and section presenting their accomplishments against their targets. The room was abuzz with excitement as teams showcased their hard work and dedication. The presentations highlighted the successful implementation of cooperative development projects, the promotion of cooperative principles and values, and the positive impact made on the communities they served. It was truly a testament to the commitment and passion of the CDA MIMAROPA Regional Office.

Amidst the presentations, a retirement testimonial program was conducted to honor Ms. Lilia S. Buela, a respected and long-serving member of the CDA MIMAROPA Regional Office. Colleagues and cooperatives gathered to express their gratitude and appreciation for her 31 years of service and dedication to the cooperative movement. Heartfelt stories were shared, reminiscing the valuable contributions she made throughout her career. It was a touching moment that left a lasting impression on everyone present.

Following the retirement testimonial program, the Regional Christmas party commenced with great enthusiasm. The theme for the evening was “polka dots,” and the venue was transformed into a vibrant and colorful space. The staff members, dressed in their best polka dot outfits, added to the festive atmosphere.

Laughter filled the air as colleagues from different provinces and sections mingled, shared stories, and celebrated the spirit of unity and camaraderie. Delicious food and refreshing beverages were served, creating an ambiance of joy and celebration. The evening was filled with games that made a surprise for the exposure of talented staff member that brought smiles and laughter.

As the Year-end Assessment drew to a close, the final day brought two additional significant events. First, a zumba activity was organized to promote health and wellness among the staff. The energetic workout session infused everyone with a renewed sense of vitality and positivity.
The day also saw the election of Employee Union officers, where staff members had the opportunity to vote for their representatives. This democratic process encouraged active participation and ensured that the voices of the employees were heard and represented in the decision-making processes of the organization.

With the conclusion of the zumba activity and the election, the Year-end Assessment of the CDA MIMAROPA Regional Office concluded on a high note. The event had not only provided a platform to showcase achievements but also fostered a sense of unity, appreciation, and well-being among the staff.
