One of the highlights of the celebration of the Cooperative Month 2023 in the province of Camarines Norte was the conduct of a Local Recruitment Activity (LRA). The Cooperative Development Authority-Camarines Norte Contact Office in coordination with the Provincial Government, the Camarines Norte Provincial Cooperative Development Council (CNPCDC), the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAG), the Cooperative Sector and Public Employment Service Office (PESO)-Provincial Office led a Job Fair tagged as Local Recruitment Activity (LRA). Seven (7) Primary Cooperatives in the province namely, Basud Development Cooperative (BADEVCO), Camarines Norte Development Cooperative (CANDEVCO), Labo Progressive Multi-purpose Cooperative (LPMPC), Camarines Norte Agriculture Business Ventures Cooperative (CANABVECO), Camarines Norte Seed Growers Multipurpose Cooperative (CANSEGMUPCO), Coops for Christ Camarines Norte, and Jose Panganiban Primary Hospital Service Cooperative (JPPHSC) participated in the activity by offering job vacancies in their respective offices as facilitated by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the Provincial Government.
As early as 7:30 in the morning, applicants have flocked to the venue, the historical Daet Heritage Building. This Local Recruitment Activity was the first Coop Jobs Fair in Region V, organized as part of the Coop Month Celebrations. The short program was graced by the CDA Supervisor for Camarines Norte, Senior CDS Gilda C. Ragay, who is also the Chief of the Registration Section of CDA Regional Office; Mr. Manuel Odi, Senior CDS of OPAG representing Engr. Almirante Abad the Provincial Agriculturist; Mr. Ronnel C. Yu, the Chairperson of CNPCDC and at the same time MCO of Daet, and PCDS Erlinda V. Valera and CDS II Anthony P. Galvan of CDA Camarines Norte Office. More than thirty (30) participants comprising representatives of partner cooperatives as well as applicants attended. 
Among the positions declared open by participating Cooperatives were Development Officers (2), Internal Auditor, 10 Nurses, 1 Human Resource Officer, Marketing Officer, Merchandiser, Office Clerk, Development Officers and Loan Collectors.
Shortly after the program, applicants queued to the table of their chosen coops, each of them has submitted his or her resume and letter of intent while some of them were already interviewed by the Coop officers assigned by each participating Cooperative.
This activity was a clear manifestation of the cooperative’s contribution to social development by creating and providing job opportunities to the people, thus enabling them to provide food in the tables of Filipino families.
