CDA Meets Cong. Arnie of District IV – Camarines Sur

A productive meeting was held as Acting Regional Director Atty. Emilio D. Escueta III and Acting ARD Engr. Zaldy G. Bermejo met Congressman Arnie Fuentebella last February 11, 2024 in his humble residence at Brgy. Abo, Tigaon, Camarines Sur to talk about the CDA Plans and Programs coincides with the former’s invitation – Partido Asenso Caravan.

On behalf of the Authority, Acting Regional Director Atty. Escueta presented the status of the cooperatives in the entire District IV showcasing the highlights of successful cooperatives in the area. The pipeline priority programs of the Authority and its partnership with other stakeholders for the betterment of cooperatives were also discussed.  On the other hand, Acting ARD Engr. Bermejo also emphasized the support of local government units as it is vital in strengthening the cooperatives in respective municipalities paving the way for the creation of CDCs and CDO in compliance with RA 11535 and MC 2022-03.

Also present during the meeting was Mayor Pamela Rinah Fuentebella, the Local Chief Executive of the Municipality of Tigaon, Camarines Sur who also showed her support as she informed that the position for Coperative Development Officer in her jurisdiction is now a work in progress.

Such a meeting commenced the two-week Partido Asenso Caravan that will run from February 12-22, 2024. This is a flagship program of Congressman Fuentebella in the entire District IV of the Province of Camarines Sur wherein Acting RD Atty. Escueta expressed his support in cascading the CDAs services to the former’s constituents. The two-week activity will be participated in by the CDA as represented by CDS II Marie Chris Valencia, CDS II Joshua Nayles and CDS II Darine Tupaz respectively.
