March 2, 2023 at the Queen Maricel Inn in SIV from 8am to 5pm is the Regional Info Caravan which aimed to disseminate the latest CDA issuances, orient cooperative officers and members as to the preparation of the agency’s reportorial requirements and aid them in adopting and carrying out the latest innovations, development and regulatory programs.

The Cooperative School on Wheels on its 10th year of religiously conducting the above information drive campaign has shown tremendous improvement and has guided the cooperatives in the conduct of their operations.

The expected fruitful and productive day is made possible thru the joint effort and partnership of the different LGUs, Unions, Federation and Cooperative Development Councils (CDCs). Likewise, kudos to the tireless effort of the resource speakers from the regional office spearheaded by CDA Regional Director, Salvador Valeroso, different sections head and representatives and personnel from DILG Catanduanes Office in the person of Ms. Katrina Roselle S. Tariman who relentlessly shared their valuable time and knowledge in making the event a huge success. Part also of the activity is the courtesy visit of CDA Personnel to the Office of the Provincial Governor of Catanduanes Hon. Joseph C. Cua for initial meeting and orientation about RA 10744 also and for the possible creation of Credit Surety Fund Cooperative. It aims to increase the credit worthiness cooperative and member of the cooperative. It will also pave way for a more inclusive growth and development of MSMEs and ultimately the cooperative sector.
