CDA Region V successfully awards a symbolic check to Mr. Diego T. Tud on June 10, 2024 at CDA Region V Extension Office, as the second cooperative member-beneficiary of the financial assistance under the CDA-PCSO Partnership Program on Medical Assistance for Cooperatives (PMAC).
The awarding of check was attended by Regional Director Atty. Emilio D. Escueta III, Acting Assistant Regional Director Engr. Zaldy G. Bermejo, Mr. Diego Tud, and Mr. Darine L. Tupaz.
The Authority continues to promote the CDA-PCSO partnership program to generate awareness among members of micro and small cooperatives in the region who are in need of medical and health assistance due to confinement, dialysis injection, chemo drugs, specialty medicines, hemodialysis, laboratory and diagnostic and imaging procedures, implant, and medical devices.
Under Memorandum Circular 2022-30, the CDA-PCSO partnership also seeks to promote and strengthen cooperative hospitals as partners in the provision of these health-related concerns.“Magandang tulong ito sa mga coop members, kung kayo ay may sakit, dapat sana na malaman ninyo ito para mabigyan kayo at least ng financial assistance”. Mr. Tud shared.
Mr. Tud has served the Pamplona Farmers Cooperative for seventeen (17) years, serving the cooperative in various capacities and holding different positions. After his successful operation at Naga Imaging Center Cooperative (NICC) on his benign prostatic hyperplasia last November 6, 2023, Mr. Tud is now capable of performing his usual duties and obligations as Chairman of the PAMFACO.
“Para sa akin bilang recipient ng ₱10,000.00, ito ay malaking bagay dahil nabigyan ako ng lakas ng loob na dito sa atin ang sinasabi ng opisina ay totoo at nangyayari.” Mr. Tud added.
In the interest of public service, CDA Region V remains committed and supportive to the implementation of the CDA-PCSO Partnership Program on Medical Assistance for Cooperatives (PMAC) in Bicol.
