This training aims to equip participants from transport cooperatives with a thorough understanding of the key concepts of financial management specific to transport cooperatives. It will also cover the essential elements of their accounting systems and provide the skills necessary to interpret and analyze financial statements.

For the Day 2 Morning Session, Dir. Mildred S. Esguerra, Director of Registration, Supervision and Examination Service discussed the Standard of Accounts, Basic Financial Statements, Cooperative Taxation, Allocation and Distribution of Net Surplus and Tools and Techniques on Financial Statement Analysis (STEPS).
For the Day2 afternoon schedule, Atty. Ma. Lourdes P. Pacao, Deputy Administrator of Registration, Supervision and Examination Service discussed the Business Operations & Expansion of Transport Coops and Regulatory Compliance.
Overall, the Financial Management Training for Transport Cooperatives was successful in collaboration of Cooperative Development Authority Head Office together with CDA Region V Extension Office.
