The activity aimed to bring together the services of the government to client cooperatives, making them more accessible and available at their doorsteps. This shows solidarity and community action.

In addition, the transition from “Coop on Wheels” to “Coop My Day!” was to emphasize that cooperatives should be able to REFLECT, RENEW, RECOMMIT, and REACH OUT through this productive activity, just like how we update our lives with personal “my day” stories. This initiative creates opportunities for meaningful experiences worth sharing and reflecting upon. It fosters renewal, encourages recommitment, and reaches out to new ideas and actions to strengthen cooperative efforts. Through these processes, participants are empowered to engage more deeply with their cooperative values and contribute to its ongoing growth and success.

Updates were shared from all sections of CDA Region V, along with information on the Investment Program for Cooperatives by the Bureau of Treasury and an orientation on the First Philippine Polymer Banknote Series by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and also cash tips from Bangko De Oro Network Bank. These sessions offered participants valuable insights and practical knowledge to further enhance their cooperative ventures.

This event was made possible through the efforts of the Cooperative Development Authority Region V, with the CDA Camarines Norte Contact Office and in collaboration with the Provincial and Local Government of Camarines Norte, and nine MCDOs from the municipalities of Daet, Basud, Jose Panganiban, Paracale, Mercedes, San Vicente, San Lorenzo, Talisay, and Labo. Coop My Day was sponsored by the Local Government Unit of Daet, through the office of MCDO Sir Ronnel C. Yu.

As the program continues to travel across the provinces, it is clear that its impact is far-reaching. Each stop represents a vital opportunity for cooperatives to come together, learn from one another, and leave with a renewed sense of purpose. The success of Coop My Day serves as a testament to the power of collaboration and the unwavering commitment of cooperative members in creating a better, more inclusive society.
