Naga City – The Cooperative Development Authority Camarines Sur Contact Office and Bicol Medical Center G110 Multi-Purpose Cooperative spearheaded a bloodletting activity in partnership with Local Government Unit – Naga and Naga City Cooperative Development Council. It was held on October 27, 2023 at Museo ni Robredo, Civic Center Compound, Naga City. This endeavor wrapped up the month-long celebration of the Cooperative Month in the province of Camarines Sur which aimed to bring efforts together in serving communities. Twenty-six (26) selfless individuals submitted themselves for screening and twenty-three (23) had successfully donated their precious blood. The activity ran until 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon and a simple token of appreciation was given to each donor, reminding them of their charitable act of sharing and cooperation which can save a life.
The success of this occasion serves as a reminder that the human spirit can endure hardship and still be compassionate. Each unit of blood donated represents a potential lifeline for someone in need. A community’s true richness lies in the strength of its ties and the willingness of its members to support one another, as we are reminded on the recently concluded bloodletting activity. Let this event serves as a springboard for more deeds of generosity, harmony, and selflessness. And serves as proof of what we can accomplish when we work together to improve and care for everyone in our community.
