CDA Regional Director Nora P. Patron, MBA, PhD., Acting Assistant Regional Director Mercy J. Gabasa and their team together with Provincial Trade Industry and Cooperative Development Office headed by Atty. Arturo Cangrejo with Senior CDS Alfonso Baldonado awarded the Certificate of Registration to EO 70 barangay cooperatives namely Badiang Marketing Cooperative of Brgy. Badiang and Jona Marketing Cooperative of Brgy. Jona, all of Tubungan, Iloilo last December 20, 2021 in TEDCO Conference Room.

During the said event, the forging of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Koop Kapatid Program between, CDA Region VI Extension Office headed by Dir. Nora P. Patron, MBA, PhD., Tubungan Employees Development Cooperative (Big Brother Cooperative) represented by its Chairperson Purisima Tabares, Badiang Marketing Cooperative (Small Brother Cooperative) represented by its Chairperson Jacinto E. Tabiongan and Jona Marketing Cooperative (Small Brother Cooperative) represented by its Chairperson Elizabeth L. Tapulgo also transpired.

Barangay officials and beneficiaries of the above-mentioned barangays were also present during the awarding ceremony, Koop Kapatid MOA signing, and during the orientation of the fundamentals of cooperatives.
