The Cooperative Development Authority Region 7 conducted an orientation for the submission of the annual report of cooperatives through the Cooperative Assessment Information System(CAIS). The Local Government Unit of Argao, through the Municipal Cooperative Development Council, hosted the orientation on March 13-14, 2023 at the COWASSCO MPC Function Hall, Poblacion, Argao, Cebu. LGU Argao’s Municipal Mayor supported the activity through the provision of meals and snacks. Ms. Gessyl Therese C. Matarlo, head of Community Organizing and Sectoral Sustainability Office (COSSO) assisted the activity. Venue of the seminar was sponsored by COWASSCO.

CAIS orientation was conducted for the cooperatives from Argao to Samboan, Cebu. The activity was in preparation for the mandatory submission of reports. Cooperatives who successfully submitted the reports to the CAIS were issued a Certificate of Compliance(COC) like the DOH TRC Argao Consumer Cooperative who made it to the submission.
